PRODUCTION LINE

Packing, boxing, loading on

Waiting for a break to come

Machines routinely steam ahead

Pounding, thumping, banging head

Boredom hides behind a smile

As human robots stand in line

Escape!

Just briefly into dream

As rhythm forges new routine

The clock stares down to slow the time

More human robots join the line

Little do they realise

Their wages come at such high price

Unaware or trapped in strife

They join the production line of LIFE

A RATHER INCONVENIENT MOOD

So sorry you are feeling low, now please – what can i do?

There must be something I can say to try and pull you through

If I can help in any way, I’d really like to know

I’m glad you opened up at last and let your feelings show

You tell me how you wish to die, and though you make no plea

I must find a solution as this surely cannot be

How long until you’re better Bev? Please say you’re past the worst

You cannot die today my dear please write some money first

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am sorry I want to die but my whole world is black
No longer can i see the light, can’t see ahead or back
When you adorn your spectacles to look to days ahead
And glimpse through rosy lenses at your rose infested bed
Don’t tell me I should see the same, a future clear and bright
For many years ago I fear, I lost my sense of sight
Although I hear them hopefully, such words I know are lost
For every happy day I have is bought at such high cost
The highs and lows will come and go.
Then come along again
And nothing here will ever change no matter how or when
If not tomorrow or next week perhaps maybe today
I will book in with Reaper Grim who’ll take the pain away
So everything ends here and now.
End of.
No more to say.
I’m sorry if I trouble you, don’t want to marr your day
If that’s an inconvenience, I’ll soon be out the way.
GLUE
My heart was yours, you broke it
My neck exposed, you choked it
My face you held, then spat and yelled
And all my dreams you took and shelved
And cared not.
I gave you love, you lost it
And you shall never have it
I watch as you decay and rust
Your withered soul reduced to dust
And care not.
Goodbye relentless heartache
A ‘love’ so bitter and fake
No more regret, I will forget,
Find someone true; a better you
A man to find my broken heart
Still ripped, still shattered, torn apart
And with his tender touch
He’ll give what you could never give me
Real love.
